Carthage Musical Devotees

Monthly musical offerings for the community–hosted in Grace Church most months.

Fuller Center for Housing

Constructing homes for those afflicted by the 2011 tornado in Joplin.

The Lafayette Center of Joplin

Providing safe haven for women and families dealing with abuse– 2011-13 construction of Rose Cottage transitional family home by our Diocese; Grace Church provided endowment for utilities.

Carthage Humane Society

Dog, cat and small animal veterinary and adoption services

Carthage Crisis Center

Origin in the Grace Church Shelter established in the 1990s, providing short term safe housing for individuals and families in crisis.

Mercy-McCune Brooks Hospital Ambassadors

Providing welcome and assistance in our local hospital

Carthage R9 Foundation/Bright Future

Providing backpacks filled with school supplies and weekend nutrition for children at risk in our community–administered by parishioner Amy Grimes

Carthage Literacy Center

Providing books to every fourth grader in Carthage, stocking a number of little lending libraries throughout town (original one on our grounds), and a reading incentives bag with nursery rhymes to every child born at Mercy McCune Brooks–president is parishioner Larry Hartman

KAIROS Prison Ministry

an intensive weekend experience sharing our faith with inmates at Cameron and Chillicothe Correctional Facilities–several men of the parish have participated in this remarkable ministry over the past four years.
