Every year just before All Hallows Eve, otherwise known as Halloween, we invite everyone to wear their costume, if they wish, to church and partake in a special liturgy that includes a costume blessing! After worship we have our annual Boo-fet of Terror (Halloween inspired buffet of food) for all who wish to join and we end the evening with our Trunk-r-Treat in our parking lot and Spookhouse next door in the Episcopad. All are welcome to come and join in the fun and any who wish to decorate a trunk and pass out candy are invited to do so! This year we will have our Costume Blessing and Trunk-r-Treat on Wednesday, October 28th!
In December we host our annual St. Nicholas Party for Youth and invite everyone to come and celebrate some Christmas joy and hear the story of old Saint Nick from St. Nicholas himself! Youth engage in activities, hear a Christmas story or two, play games, and enjoy some well earned sweet treats! On the first Friday and Saturday of every December, Friday the 4th and Saturday the 5th in 2026, Grace Church hosts the Olde World Market to raise funds to support our ministry in Haiti. Area vendors are invited to sell their beautifully crafted wares with a portion of their proceeds benefiting our ministry efforts in Haiti. All proceeds directly serve the needs of this important ministry. This has been a long-established event in the life of Grace Church and has made a tremendous impact on the lives of those it is intended to help the most. If you are interested in learning more about being a vendor or learning more information about this important ministry, please reach out to the church office.
